Old Friends, New Kids

The last time I saw my college friend Vicky she had her daughter and that was all the kids we had.

And now...

Well, there have been a lot of changes in the past 3 1/2 years!

It's so great to have friends who you might not get to see very often, but you can get together with like no time has passed at all. Our lives aren't quite the same as they were in college, or even a few years ago when we last got together in Florida, but it was just as much fun to hang out!

Vicky made the long trek from Virginia where she was staying for a few weeks to see us while we were staying at my parent's house in Pennsylvania. If you thought 3 kids was crazy, 6 under 6 was quite a wild time!

The kids had a blast having races in the backyard, at the park and dairy show, picking blueberries, playing in the rain, roasting marshmallows and making pizza.

Amelia was a lot more excited than she looks, I swear!

Amelia is still asking if she can go play in the rain with Tori.

I'm so glad to have such great friends scattered across the country and so happy we can still manage to connect and see each other when we're all nearby! Hopefully it won't be another 3+ years until we see these friends again! Thanks for the visit Vicky!
