We celebrated the my not-so-baby-anymore Baby Ben's first birthday with our friends the week after his birthday. You'd think I'd be a pro at this birthday party business by now, but alas, every party seems to come with its own stresses. Being soon after we returned home from the holidays put a little time crunch on things but I managed to whip up a pretty cute birthday party still, at least I think so. Someday I'll write a post about all of my birthday planning tips and tricks because I've learned quite a bit in all this birthday business over the past few years!
We went with a Little Man theme...because babies+mustaches=adorableness. You know it's true.
Luckily, I have a super crafty friend who made Ben the cutest shirt ever! Along with cutting out some mustache fun and decorations for me with her super fancy Silhouette machine. I'm not jealous at all. Thanks Lil Mrs. Tori!
Between Tori, Busy Chickadees Etsy site and Oriental Trading, I had a lot of fun mustaching out our house!
We got a bounce house for the bigger kids (ok, mostly the twins), and the kids had fun jumping all day long. Since it was a birthday party of little toddlers (between a few months and 3 years old mostly), it was pretty simple affair. We just enjoyed food, jumping and hanging out. And of course, cupcakes.
Thanks everyone who came out to celebrate our 1 year old with us! We had a lot of fun!
Bad news: I only have a few months left until the twins' 3rd birthday! Yikes!
